1. Can I return my product if I am not happy with it?

Yes, we accept returns within 14 days of purchase, provided the product is unused and in its original packaging. Custom or personalized items may not be eligible for return unless defective. Custom-fitted mouthguards and kits, sale or clearance items, gift cards, and digital content are always non-refundable. You can find all the details on our returns and exchanges page.

2. Does CHAMP offer a warranty on protective gear?

Yes, CHAMP offers a 12-month warranty against manufacturing defects. This does not cover damage from misuse or normal wear and tear.

3. Can I place bulk orders for teams ororganizations?

Certainly! CHAMP offers bulk purchasing options with potential discounts for teams, schools, and organizations. Contact our sales department for tailored solutions.

4. I think I received a damaged or defective product, what do I do?

Oh no! We’re keen to rectify this ASAP. Please send us an email at info@champmouthguards.com.au within 2 business days of delivery and include your order number, a description of the problem and a clear photo showing the damage. We’ll work quickly to resolve the issue for
you.

5. I think I received the wrong product in my order, or my order is missing something, what do I do?

We’re so sorry! That’s not up to our standards. Please send us an email at info@champmouthguards.com.au within 2 business days of delivery and include your order number and a description of the problem. We’ll work quickly to resolve the issue for you.

6. How should I clean and store my protective gear?

Cleaning: Hand wash with mild detergent and cold water. Avoid bleach or harsh chemicals.

Drying: Air dry away from direct sunlight.

Storage: Store in a cool, dry place, preferably in a ventilated bag to prevent moisture buildup.

7. How often should I replace my protective gear?

Regularly inspect your gear for signs of wear and tear. Depending on usage frequency, consider replacing headguards every 1-2 years and chest and leg guards every 1-2 years or sooner if damage is evident.

1. What’s included with a custom mouthguard purchase

Each CHAMP custom mouthguard includes:

An at-home impression kit orin-clinic scan (your choice)

2. How long does it take to make my custom mouthguard?

Our standard turnaround is 10 business days from the time we receive your completed dental impression. Need it faster? We offer a guaranteed 5-business-day express option for an additional $50.

3. What if I take a bad dental impression?

No stress — we’ve got you. Ifthe impression isn’t usable,youve got enough putty for 2attempts.

We provide video guidance andcan offer 1-on-1 support tohelp get it right the secondtime round.

If required you can purchase another impression kit for an extra 2 attempts.

4. Can I get a rebate from my private health insurance?

DIY online kit orders are not eligible for private health insurance rebates.

However, if you'd like to claim through your health fund, you can book an appointment with one of our preferred dental providers. Find one in your area on our Locations page.

If your local dentist isn’t on our list, they’re welcome to contact us — we’d be happy to onboard them so you can still receive your rebate.

5. Do you offer custom mouthguards for braces?

Yes — but not through our DIY at-home kit.

To ensure a safe and accurate fit, mouthguards for braces must be made through one of our preferred dental providers.Additional charges may apply depending on the provider.

**Please note: DIY impression kits cannot be used for customers with braces.

6. What if my mouthguard requires adjustments?

This isn't common, however if your mouthguard doesn’t feel quite right, reach out within 7days of receiving it and we’ll work with you to get it adjusted.

7. I lost my custom mouthguard, can I get a replacement?

If your custom mouthguard is lost within 2 months of purchase, we may still have your dental impression or digital scan on file. Please send us an email at info@champmouthguards.com.au with your details and our team will check what's available — if we have your details, we can remake your mouthguard without needing a new impression.

8. Does my custom mouthguard come with a warranty?

Yes, all Champ custom mouthguards come with a 1 year manufacturing warranty covering:

Material defects
Faulty manufacturing
Fit issues (if caused by a defect or valid impression issue)

9. What if my custom mouthguard doesn’t fit?

If your mouthguard doesn’t fit quite right, get in touch with our team — we’ll help find the best solution.If a new impression is needed, we’ll send you a replacement DIY kit at no extra cost and fast-track the remake, so you’ll receive your new mouthguard within 5 business days of us receiving your new impression.Important: Your original mouthguard must be returned when you send back the new impression. If the original is not returned, you may be charged for the replacement impression kit and shipping before we can proceed.

10. How often should my Champ mouthguard be replaced?

For children aged 6–15, we recommend replacing their custom mouthguard every season, as their teeth and jaw are still developing. If your child frequently removes their mouthguard or starts chewing on it, it may be uncomfortable— a common sign that it needs replacing. For adults, a CHAMP mouthguard typically lasts 2–3years, depending on usage.However, it’s important to inspect it annually for signs of wear. If it feels loose, causes irritation, or rubs against your gums, it’s time for a replacement.

11. Can my child wear a mouthguard whilst using a removable appliance?

A custom mouthguard can be made for a child with a removable appliance. Before taking the impression, the plate must be removed, and it cannot be in at the same time as the mouthguard.

12. My kids teeth are still growing, should they still wear a mouthguard?

Our custom mouthguards for children are built to allow for some tooth movement because of how quickly a child’s teeth and bones change. Until your child reaches the age of 15, they’ll need a new mouthguard each year.

13. How far back should my custom mouthguard go in my mouth?

Your CHAMP mouthguard is designed to offer maximum protection without affecting your breathing or speech. It will typically extend to — or just past — your first molars, depending on the size and shape of your mouth. 14. How do I clean my mouthguard?

Head Protection

1. What distinguishes CHAMP's headguards from others?

Yes, our headguards are designed for a range of contact sports, including rugby, AFL, MMA, and boxing. However, always consult your sport's governing body to ensure compliance with specific regulations.

3. How do I determine the right size?

Refer to our detailed sizing chart on each product page. Measure the circumference of your head and match it to the corresponding size. If you're between sizes, opt for the larger one for comfort.

4. Can I customize the headguard's appearance?

Currently, CHAMP offers a selection of colors and designs. For bulk or team orders, customization options may be available. Please contact our sales team for more information.

2. Is there a chest guard tailored for female athletes?

Yes, the MOTION+ SPORTS BRA is specifically designed for female athletes, combining support with integrated padding to protect against impacts during high-contact sports.

3. Are the chest guards machine washable?

We recommend hand washing with mild detergent and air drying to maintain the integrity of the padding and fabric.

4. Can these be worn under standard jerseys?

Absolutely. Our chest guards are slim-profiled, allowing them to be comfortably worn under most sports jerseys without restricting movement.
